Randle Jasper Smith
Randle Jasper Smith (July 25, 1908 – January 8, 1962) was a United States federal judge.
Born in Campbell, Missouri, Smith received an A.B. from the University of Missouri in 1931. He was in private practice in Springfield, Missouri from 1931 to 1956. He was a member of the Missouri State Senate from 1943 to 1954.
On June 5, 1956, Smith was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to a seat on the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri vacated by Charles E. Whittaker. Smith was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 2, 1956, and received his commission on July 3, 1956. He served as chief judge from 1961 until his death on January 8, 1962.
